About Bwthyn Tre-faen

Bwthyn Tre-faen is a beautifully converted barn cottage on a 100-acre working organic farm near Cray in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Mid Wales. Set on a real working farm with open farmland all around, this is a proper countryside escape with spectacular views and clean air that guests consistently rave about.

The Brecon Beacons surround you here. Epynt Way walking paths start directly from the cottage door. Brecon town is 8 miles away with independent shops and a monthly farmers' market. Stargazing from the farm is genuinely impressive thanks to the open night sky.

The cottage sleeps 3 across two bedrooms. The double bedroom features exposed beams, wooden furniture and a free-standing roll-top bath in the corner. The single bedroom has a skylight. There's a separate shower room with WC. The open-plan living area has stone walls, exposed beams and a handmade oak kitchen with electric hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside garden seating is perfect for al fresco dining.

Pen y Fan is 12 miles away (approx. 25 mins). The National Showcaves Centre for Wales is just 7 miles. Brecon town is 8 miles (15 mins). The Epynt Way trail starts at the cottage door.
