Bramble Cottage - Mountain Retreat is a stone cottage sitting on a working farm on the slopes of the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park, West Wales. Sleeping up to 4 guests it's beautifully decorated throughout with a homely feel that past guests consistently highlight in reviews. No hot tub here but the setting more than compensates.
The farm itself offers ancient woodlands, wild meadows and mountain views. The area holds Dark Sky status making stargazing genuinely spectacular. A farm bridleway leads straight up onto the mountain. Candlelit dinners at selected locations on the farm are available for romantic breaks. Llangadog village is 6 miles away with pubs and shops.

The open-plan living space has high ceilings, French doors to the garden and a Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and electric oven.
Pen y Fan (22 miles / 35 mins), Sgwd yr Eira waterfall (18 miles / 30 mins), Dan yr Ogof Caves (14 miles / 25 mins) and the River Towy fishing at Llangadog (6 miles / 12 mins) are all within easy reach.

The nearest railway station is Llandeilo, approximately 8 miles from the property. From there a taxi will take you to the farm it's worth arranging this in advance as rural taxis can be limited.
