Machynlleth is a proper Welsh market town. The River Dyfi is just 0. 3 miles away offering brown trout, salmon and sea trout fishing. Aberdyfi beach is 10 miles out with sailing and canoeing available. Britain's oldest street market runs every Wednesday right in town.
