Beacons View Farm Cottages Reviews

Emma
We really appreciated how much thought went into making it family-friendly, with loads of fun activities for all ages. Our dog loved the great walks in the woodsand the owner's gesture of bringing fresh bakery bread was a lovely touch. Overall, a fantastic weekend in such a stunning spot. Thanks so much!
Emma
Really enjoyed it once more, already booked for next year-can't wait! Thanks!
Mark
Stunning scenery, lovely place, friendly hosts.
Emily
We had an absolutely lovely stay! The three cottages suited our group perfectly, with plenty of space and privacy. The games barn was a real highlight - spent ages playing pool, dartsand table tennis; it kept everyone entertained for hours. The hot tubs were fantastic too, offering stunning views that made relaxing even better. Most of our time was just hanging out together, since the location makes it easy to enjoy walks, hikesand a bit of shopping for supplies. Honestly, there's so much to do on-site that we barely felt the need to leave. Menna & John were super helpful throughout - we'd definitely come back!
Emma Carter
We had a fantastic stay with all three cottages for our group of 17. The place was super peaceful since it's quite secluded, so being a bit loud wasn't a problem at all. The shopping delivery I sorted beforehand arrived perfectly, no hassle. The welcome pack with local bread was a lovely touch! The hosts were really friendly, greeting us on arrival and always available to help. We'd definitely come back and recommend it!
Jamie
We loved staying here! The place is perfect for larger groups with plenty of room, a fun games roomand a hot tub. Great for celebrationsand we'd definitely come back!

We had an amazing time! The place is beautifully set with stunning views of the hills, really peaceful. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. The quality of the accommodation was top-notchand everyone loved the hot tubs - such a great bonus. The separate buildings made it perfect for our group, giving us plenty of space. Several of us already said we'd love to come back sometime, it was just that good. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We spent a lovely Christmas week at the cottages, even with that terrible storm in the middle! The owners, John and Menna, were so helpful and quick to respond both before and during our stay. All three cottages were spotless, warmand beautifully decorated-perfect for our big family gathering, from babies to great grandparents. The hot tubs were definitely a highlightand we enjoyed some lovely local walks too. We brought dogs alongand they loved the real fire and the secure outdoor space. Honestly, the views were stunning and made everything even more special. We'll definitely be back - thanks again to everyone involved!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay! The views were stunning and the kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms were cosy and felt like home. Definitely recommend!
Emma Roberts
We had an absolutely lovely stay! It was perfect for our whole family, including the newest little member. The cottages were separate but still nearby, creating a safe space for the kids to play and explore. The big house was ideal for family meals and catching up, while the peaceful cottage offered a quiet retreat when needed. We made some really special memories here that we'll hold onto. The hot tubs were a big hitand the games room kept everyone entertained. The only downside was some of the gaming equipment being a bit broken, which the owner mentioned might be fixed with a returnable deposit - sounds like a sensible plan. Huge thanks to John and Menna for making our week so special!
Emma
The scenery is stunningand there's lots to explore nearby. We loved the hot tubs and games room, especially on rainy days. Definitely planning to come back next year!
Rachel
We absolutely loved this place! The views are breathtakingand it's so tucked away that you don't see a single neighbour for miles. Perfect for kids and dogs to run around safely. The house is stunning and well-maintained. The hosts are lovely, making us feel right at home. Definitely a place we'd return to!
Emma
Perfect for our big family get-together! The three cottages meant everyone had spaceand the biggest one was great for cooking and hanging out together. The games room was a bonus, especially on rainy days. We definitely plan to come back!
Emma
The place was lovely and the location had stunning, sweeping views. The games room wasn't great, but we heard a new one is coming. Luckily, the weather was perfect, so it didn't ruin our trip at all!
Charlie
Lovely place, great hosts, perfect spot!
Emma Clarke
We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location of the cottages is absolutely stunning, just as the website describes - perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, even sorting out a blocked toilet caused by previous guests, which we appreciated. That said, the outdoor play area had been removed, possibly due to damage or safety concernsand it would've been nice if we'd been told about this beforehand. The games room was a bit disappointing - it's in a sorry state, with damaged or incomplete sports equipment everywhere, probably because the owners are focusing on building a new games room. The outdoor cigarette bins were overflowing and had a bit of an unpleasant smell, which wasn't great for a family with kids and non-smokers. The properties themselves were generally tidy but could do with a good dusting and some TLC. Despite these minor issues, the warm welcome and the lovely setting really made up for it - we'd love to come back soon!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The place was fantastic, super cleanand had everything we needed. Booking was easyand the owner kept in touch, which was really reassuring. Totally recommend!
Emma
We stayed here to celebrate my partner's 40th birthdayand honestly, it was fantastic. The cottages are even more gorgeous in person - pictures really don't do them justice! The views are breathtakingand our room was perfect for relaxing. We loved how private it was, away from everything, with plenty of space to unwind. The owners were super friendly and brought extra logs for the fire, which was a lovely touch. The place had everything we needed-just bring your own food and drinksand you're good to go. We're definitely coming back next Christmas for sure! Such a lovely spot to escape and relax.
