Absolutely stunning place the lodge was perfect. Hottub was maintained while we was there also. Owners of the place we're lovely to talk to. Only downside was the flys could do with a fly screen to help prevent them getting into the cabin but also understand that flys can not be helped. Will be booking to stay again really enjoyed our stay.

The place was perfect for what we wanted,but out of way for shops but didn't make a difference to us but might for some . I would 100 recommend if you want a lovely quiet break , surroundings are so beautiful especially from are cabin will be coming back and recommending to all our friends. Well done beautiful short break .

If a relaxing peaceful time away is what your looking for then look no further than this property and the rest of the properties on this site. Ive stayed 4 times this year alone. So peaceful it was amazing. The only sounds you will hear are the birds and the bleating of the sheep. I will definitely be returning.

Fabulous property, location brilliant. It was so peaceful. Great for visiting the nearby Elan valley! The only bit even though it's not really a disappointment was the size of the upstairs bedroom, Pictures seemed to make it look larger than it actually was...being tall wasn't great here

Had a fabulous stay here for the bank holiday weekend. The lodge was clean, well maintained and exactly as described and pictured. The management team was also on hand when we needed them and sorted any issues straight away. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and we enjoyed toasting the marshmallows from it and other items too. We loved chilling in the afternoon here and enjoying the hot tub but locally there are great walks to explore too and even a Falconry experience which was amazing. Would 100 return. We really enjoyed our stay at the woodland escape. Lodge was spotless and lovely welcome basket on arrival along with plenty of information about the area. Owner was also very helpful before arrival with providing taxi number etc so we could plan our trip. Hot tub was perfect and so relaxing to sit out in the evenings in the quiet country side. Centred in the middle of a farm, this lodge provides a peaceful getaway for couples or small families. The owners who live on the farm were very friendly and welcoming, and are only a text away if you need anything. On the farm were plenty of sheep, a chicken coop, and even some goats and horses in the middle of one of the fields is a small gated park for kiddies to play. The hot tub was a must for us at the end of the night watching the sunset and looking out onto the farm. There is also a built in bbq at the end of the drive and you are provided with fire wood etc, which we really enjoyed using. They do give you a welcome basket which we appreciated and more importantly they not only provided tea, coffee and sugar but a fresh pint of milk in the fridge! I would highly recommend buying the farms fresh eggs for during your stay or even to take home with you we did both! The mattresses arent overly comfortable but we expect this when staying in cabins, and the top bunk bed I wouldnt recommend for adults as it is a crawl space. Also, we werent provided with a great variety of utensils no chopping knives, only a bread knife, and no indoor tongs. They also only have 1 small frying pan, but a few medium boiling pans. Plenty of crockery, mugs and glasses, egg cups, and salt n pepper shakers ours were empty however. The heating was constantly on in the lodge the heating dial didnt seem to work so a lot of the time we had to turn all the radiators down or off, but they do provide a plug in air con, a fan, and an additional plug in heater if needed. Also the shower was great at the start heat and pressure etc however we did notice as more visitors arrived at site towards the end of the week each time we used the the shower the heat would then fluctuate a lot between too hot and too cold. Whilst staying at the lodge we spent a day at Elan Valley Dams, we also travelled over to Hafren Forest and Borth Beach which was lovely! The roads around Rhayader are the most scenic and peaceful, most places we travelled to are 1hr away. The town of Rhayader itself is made up of a few cafespubs and some other independent businesses. There is a coop or spar if you need to grab any essentials whilst staying here. We prebooked a table at Triangle Inn on our last night which was a very small cottage pub serving great food including a stunning lamb shank!

The property was lovely and cosy situated in a stunning location. The staff were friendly and Claire was only ever a text away , we will definitely be back soon.

Would recommend to anyone wanting a romantic weekend away, was absolutely stunning! !! Only thing I'd say was we had a 3 night stay here there was 2 of us and we only had 2 big towels and 2 hand towels for the whole stay. It would of been nice to of hand 2 big towels for the hot tub and 2 big towels for the shower as the little towel rail in the bathroom was the only radiator to dry things, but other then that it was amazing, thank you!

We had an amazing time ! The weather was so nice . Shame about the drilling and banging that started around 8am every day in the week. We understand work needs to be done tho. Its a great place to relax and unwind from the stresses of life. We would love to come back one day. Watching the wildlife was amazing, weve never seen so many hornets, they only come out at night and If you have the outside light on.
