Absolutely brilliant, lovely welcome from owner, beautiful views. A bit puffed at the top of 2nd flight of stairs but the view we have was worth it. Apartment was lovely with all that you needed, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and a welcome hamper too. Have family in the area so this could be are new stay over place.

Adrian the owner met us on arrival to show us around the apartment. There is everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable, the welcome hamper was one of the best we have seen. Walking along the river to Newtown was easy and there are two museums to visit. The area is a short drive to many other places to visit. The garden and views from the apartment are superb. Fishing facilities were very good unfortunately the river was too low on our visit but my husband enjoyed sitting by the river casting out for a few hours each day. We are hoping to try again with more successful fishing next year.

Lovely base. Great location next to the river. A lovely flat very well thought out in the way its laid out. Its in the loft space so 2 flights of stairs. Lovely old historic house. Well worth a visit.

I cannot recommend Rock House enough. Adrian was the perfect host and the apartment was the perfect place. The apartment was spacious, had everything you needed but most importantly, the place and the surroundings had character in spades! The river, the garden, the terrace and even the neighbours this was truly one of our favourite places we've ever stayed and look forward to another visit very soon.
