The owners have created a wonderful property with everything you need for a relaxing time away, whether it be a family holiday or a weekend break away with friends . House was very clean and the lovely large hot tub and log burner were both very appreciated. Hot tub was lovely and warm on arrival and ready for us to use, and with a glass of wine in hand, and the views of the hills, made for a perfect first evening and every evening thereafter. The spectacular views out from the back of the property were on another level and so calming. We loved the sheep wandering about and early morning wake up calls. This is away from the main town, about a 20 minute drive to Llandrindod Wells so a car is needed, but this is the charm of the place, you can completely down tools and recharge. Welcome pack on arrival very appreciated and another great aspect that the owners have thought about. A great base to visit mid Wales and appreciate the surrounding areas. We can't wait to visit again and will definitely stay here in the future. Thanks for a lovely introduction to Wales. The first of many.

Wow. We have just had the most amazing family holiday at this perfect place. Lower Pentre is the epitome of a cosy cottage surrounded by beautiful scenery, clear skies filled with stars and peace and quiet. The hot tub was fabulous, the log fire cosy but the whole cottage was warm and inviting. Well provisioned, the kitchen has everything you need for your stay and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Family games, a smart TV and super fast internet connection make this a brilliant place to relax and spend time together. Julie and Gareth are so friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed Gareth showing us round the farm fantastic insight into farming that we found really interesting. We were also really grateful for him clearing the roads this morning with the snow. We absolutely cant wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay. The cottage had the best views loved just being able to relax and switch off. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with every little thing you could possibly need. The WiFi did go off while we was there but we still had an unbelievable time. We would definitely go again.

The cottage was lovely, set in peaceful surrounds, it had all the amenities one needed for a great staff. Julie and Gareth have done a great job, and couldn't help more when we had the power outages after an exciting 4hr long thunder and lightning storm. I would recommend lower pentre to anyone. The property is in the most beautiful place surrounded by wildlife and amazing views. It's well equipped and everything is provided. We had use of a hot tub and access to small garden which is surrounded by fields and woodland which the children explored freely, even after dark the night sky became a regular interest lots of shooting stars and a barn owl quite at home sitting on the fence it's been amazing and just what was needed 5 star

We adored our stay at lower pentre and would most definitely recommend! ! We traveled from Cheshire and absolutely loved every single minute of our commute and our break we saw the most beautiful scenery, the best sunset and the biggest moon from a clear starry sky. The timing of our stay meant we were surrounded by gorgeous lambs too! The house is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, its so well equipped and the owners Julie and Gareth are wonderful. Lower pentre was a lovely cottage in the most beautiful location. We went for a hen party and every single one of us left feeling relaxed and wholesome. The cottage had everything you would need even providing dishwasher tablets, laundry pods, towels, and a lovely welcome pack with milk, eggs and lemonade. Every room was spacious and well thought out. We will be booking again as it ws just perfect!

Absolutely gorgeous property in a fantastic location. Calm and peaceful everything you could dream of for the perfect family holiday. Nearby stream, fields, sheep and even a railway line at the bottom of the fields all kept the kids busy for hours we didnt need to go anywhere else. Really lovely cottage, if what your looking for is a relaxing setting away from all the madness and noise this is the place. Plenty of space for the kids to run around playing and days out a short drive away. Would highley recommend and the owners are lovely and couldn't have done more for us to make our stay special.

A beautiful home in lovely surroundings which was well equipped and, on the whole, comfortable. We struggled with six adults and one bathroom, especially with the water pressure, and didnt find the corner sofas particularly comfortable if all six were seated but apart from that a great property. It was so peaceful and a great place from which to explore the Elan Valley area.

Enjoyed our stay, nice sofas and decent tv and WiFi were a refreshing change. My only 2 gripes were 1 directions,,,took long time to find the cottage once off the main road as both postcodes were different between that provided by owner and one by Sykes, owner had to come out to guide us in,,,2 the place was FULL of flies, wasps moths etc which took 3 days to clear, they were left open due to COVID restrictions but it took the edge off a lovely break,

We had a relaxing and peaceful stay here, the cottage was beautiful, clean and cosy. The view each morning was stunning and the pictures do not do it justice. Would recommend the cottage to family and friends and can't wait to visit again. The perfect getaway and didn't want to come back to reality.

Everything was perfect! We loved the place, it was so cozy and comfortable. They had put the Christmas tree and decorations up as well, which made our time over there even more Christmasy.
