The Mallard Reviews

The cottage was lovely and welcoming, with all the essentials we needed. We loved that dogs were allowedand the jacuzzi was perfect for unwinding after long days exploring. We'll definitely return for another stay!
George
Great stay, stunning viewsand the hot tub was definitely worth it!
Sophie
We booked the Mallard for our anniversary getaway with the dogsand honestly, it was brilliant. The views from all angles were stunning, especially from the hot tub which overlooked the river - such a lovely setting! The bed nook was super comfyand the wood burner added a cosy touch. We appreciated the detailed info about local walks too. Our dogs had loads of space to explore and loved the river at the bottom of the field. We'll definitely return, it was just perfect!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay here! The place is in a lovely spot, peaceful with minimal light pollution, so perfect for stargazing. Definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
Jessie
Honestly, this place totally exceeded our expectations! It's well-equipped, so you really just need to bring clothes and some food. We loved how dog-friendly it was-our pup had so much space to roam around on the large field nearby while we relaxed in the cabin. The hosts were really thoughtful, making sure everything was spotless and leaving helpful booklets about local shops, restaurantsand activities. Inside, there's plenty of roomand the beds are super comfy-definitely a highlight after long days out. They also supplied loads of BBQ gear and logs for the burner, which made evenings really cosy. Our dog's bowls with stands were a nice touch, too. We've already booked to come back next month because we had such a great time. Would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Oliver
If you value calm and serenity, this spot really hits the mark, honestly.

Alex
The place is bang in the middle of everything, which we lovedand the hot tub was a real highlight. A few comfy seats wouldn't go amiss, though. Ohand there was a wasp nest near the drive, just so you know.
Emma
We had a lovely stay at the Mallard! The bed was super comfy and the hot tub was a real treat after a day out. The BBQ facilities came in handy too. Check-in was a breeze since everything was left open for us. Perfect for our 3-night tripand only half an hour from Pen-Y-Fan and Zip World. Great spot!
