The Orient Express Reviews

Emily
We recently spent a few days on the Orient Express with our daughterand despite the unpredictable weather, we had a really lovely time. The views are absolutely stunningand I bet on a sunny day it's even more magical! A heads up though, the farm's quite high up, so waterproofs and wellies are a must-weather can be tricky. The bed was super comfy and cosy, but it's quite high off the ground, so getting in and out was a bit of a challenge for us. We also struggled with the Wi-Fi; it's advertised but didn't work for us, which was a bit frustrating since we wanted to plan routes and activities. If you're into music, best to download your playlists beforehand. After some long walks, the hot tub was just what we needed! All in all, we'd definitely recommend the Orient Express for a peaceful escape-just be prepared for the weather and connectivity quirks!
Emma
We recently enjoyed a lovely break at the Orient Expressand honestly, it was just what we needed. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, feeling totally secluded and special, which made it perfect for some peace and quiet. The shepherd's hut was super cosy, with everything we could want for a week away-really well thought out. The bed was comfy, the shower worked brilliantlyand the outdoor space with the deck was a lovely touch. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, especially after a long day of exploring. You can tell the place was built with a lot of care and attention to detail. Overall, we had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!
Harriet
We spent three lovely nights over Easter and honestly, it was such a fantastic stay. The location is just perfect-close to the waterfalls and Pen y Fan, which made exploring really easy. The Orient Express was surprisingly spacious, more than enough for us to relax and feel at home for the weekend. Waking up to the sound of a stream outside was so calmingand the hot tub offered amazing views. Watching lambs hop around the field on Easter Sunday was pretty special too. Plus, the area is super dog-friendly-our German shepherd had a great time! Definitely a stay to remember.
Emma
The scenery here is stunning, especially those mountain views. It's so peaceful and quiet, perfect for couples seeking a romantic, secluded escape. Truly a special spot!
Emma
The place is perfect, with all the essentials you could want. We'd definitely recommend stopping by!
Sarah
We had such a lovely stay! The location is truly beautiful, with peaceful walks and picnics by the riverand our dog was so happy exploring. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day out. It's close to both Brecon and Swansea, with plenty of supermarkets nearby. Only small thing was some cobwebs in the corners, but overall it was very clean. We'd happily come back and recommend it to others!
Emma
Lovely location, but the place wasn't as tidy as I'd hoped. Hot tub was just too dirty to enjoy!
Harper
Lovely little shepherd's hut, just as described, good value indeed!
