Badgers View is a three-bedroom hobbit-style lodge in Powys, mid Wales. This underground property sits on a working farm and offers something completely different from standard holiday accommodation. The lodge features biomass heating and smart TV throughout.

Inside you'll find two king-size bedrooms plus one bunk room suitable for children only. The maximum occupancy is five adults. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The open-plan living space combines kitchen with electric oven and hob, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen includes microwave and fridge/freezer.

We spent the weekend away as 2 couples. It is an excellent and unique place to stay. The private hot tub was a big bonus and the beds were very comfy. The seating is the only downside. The sofa isnt very comfortable for watching tv if its a rainy day or to spend a night in. The breakfast bar stools were also too high for the bar. There is also nowhere to store your clothes so we just had to put our clothes in the bunk bed room. But overall it is an excellent place to stay with great views. We loved seeing the highland cows and the goats being able to roam around.

Fantastic location with stunning view. Love the Highland cows, goats and the morning wake up call. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badgers view and definitely hope to return soon. The only criticism I would have is that the internal seating is not the most comfortable and the stools are too high to eat at the breakfast bar

Wonderful experience. The farm is great, with plenty of animals but the hobbit style accommodation is wonderful! Private enough, hot tub a bonus, really comfortable and close enough to Rhayder. Highly recommend.
