We really enjoyed our long weekend at Hoddell Pitch Cottage. It is beautiful both inside and out, and the views were amazing. We had lovely weather, so it was great to have a choice of outside seating for meals and games. The accommodation was very clean and spacious with the bonus of a two lounges and an open plan ground floor. There were plenty of towels, lovely crisp bedding and comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the information guide very handy for operating the appliances. We briefly met Julian on the Friday evening, who was very friendly and told us about local walks and places to eat. Thanky ou very much for the welcome pack and for a lovely stay at Hoddell Pitch. We will hopefully return again for a longer break.

Hoddel Pitch Cottage was absolutely amazing! It exceeded our expectations. It was placed in such a beautiful area, with fantastic views all around. Presteigne is a short drive away, and worth a walk around the little town. The cottage was immaculate and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Loved the fact it had 2 living rooms, and plenty of toilets. The kitchen was a very good size and had all the utensils needed for cooking and serving. The garden was a very good size and enclosed and our 2 boys enjoyed playing outside. They particularly liked the table tennis in the garage, and it was useful for when it was wet. This is probably the best cottage we stayed in through Sykes. We would definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. The owners were very friendly and answered to our messages really quickly. Thank you for a fantastic time!

We are a family of 5 and very comfortably stayed at Hoddell Pitch Cottage for 15 nights. When we arrived at the property it was raining, but with the open fire and under floor heating it was so cosy and dreamy. The house is extremely comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay, we loved all of the furnishings and details of the cottage which are very thoughtful and gives it an extra touch. The surroundings are just so beautiful, serene and peaceful. We shall be back!

We had a wonderful few days in Hoddel Pitch cottage. Location was great, and the house itself had every comfort possible. It was spotlessly clean and felt very luxurious. The welcome pack was also much appreciated. We look forward to coming back again soon .

This is a comfortable, wellequipped cottage in a quiet, peaceful location. Plenty of space for children to play outside, or to have a game of table tennis in the garage.

We had a lovely stay, in spite of constant heavy rain, in this lovely spacious house. It was warm with plenty of room for everybody to eat together, for the children to play. We really enjoyed having the large sitting room as well as the smaller tv room.Sports watchers loved hiding away! All the furnishings were high tech and worked brilliantly. We only had a slight problem with locking up at night before realising the instructions were embedded in the door jamb!! Loved every minute and expect to return often!
