This is proper countryside. Red kites overhead, riverside paths on the doorstep and Offa's Dyke just 7 miles away in Knighton. Glyndwr's Way National Trail passes through Llangunllo itself. The village even has its own railway station on the Heart of Wales line.
The lodge sleeps six across three bedrooms. The first-floor king-size bedroom has a Juliette balcony and en-suite walk-in shower.

A sofa bed on the first-floor landing sleeps two extra guests bringing capacity to eight. Three bathrooms total. Open-plan kitchen-dining-sitting area seats eight with an electric fire and stunning countryside views.
Knighton is 7 miles away. Presteigne with The Judge's Lodging museum is 9 miles. Medieval Ludlow with its 13th-century castle is 25 miles away. Elan Valley's Victorian dams are roughly 40 minutes by car.
Oak Lodge works brilliantly for families or groups wanting real countryside with serious comfort. Two dogs welcome too.
