Jacqueline
Lovely holiday property. The cabin had everything we needed. The space outside was lovely and big for the dog to run around without having to worry about her getting out. Hot tub was fantastic & located well so you enjoyed the lovely views. Area was lovely & quiet, the scenery magnificent. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Would recommend to family & friends. Will definitely go back.
Andrea
Absolutely loved our stay. I can't think of anything the owners could do differently. The staff were very friendly but just left you to get on with your holiday with the knowledge they were there if needed. The owners should be very proud of their business. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Loved our stay here. One of the best places we have stayed ever. The place is done really well. The hot tub is private. Garden enclosed. Stunning views. Children loved visiting the cows.

I got there to find the cottage dubble booked and I couldnt get the owners to answer the phone and the Sykes was closed for the day so I was sitting there with no holiday I eventually got through to the owner and they offered me alternative accommodation but it was I bit difecault for me to get up and down the steps but it was ok on the Saturday I was waiting to get the go ahead to stay in the other cottage and I got through to Sykes and they told me I would get a refund for the Friday and that was that so I got to the other cottage and it was beutfull very nice so I had my holiday and came back home and noticed my offer of a refund was not in my account so I called Sykes and they told me because I was upgraded to a better cottage I would not get the refund so I just say what would have happened if there wasnt another cottage for me and I would have lost my holiday and had to travel back home which is 6 hours away I Im disabled so wasnt happy with this
This is our third stay in this beautiful pod and we as usual had a lovely time. It was clean, very well equipped apart from a dustpan and brush and warm. The views from the hot tub are simply stunning and the main selling point of the whole place. Valley view will always have a special place in our hearts xx
Daniel
Our stay at Valley View was great. The views are amazing, the hut is so lovely and the twinkle lights were a really cute little addition. The hot tub was amazing and not overlooked at all. The only complaint we had was the WiFi. It's advertised as having WiFi which is a big one for us as we were travelling with a 4 year old! but the speed was less than 2mb and not fit for purpose for streaming etc. Luckily we had good 4G signal so we could use that but I dont think this particular listing can claim to have WiFi. Despite this we had an excellent stay and would still recommend staying here with the caveat to load up your phone with plenty of data!
Rachel
Lovely place to stay, stunning scenery and great facilities. The private garden area and hot tub were a real treat. We had no hot water in the shower for the last 24 hours. My only observations would be the lack of signage from the road as our SatNav wanted to take us further along the road and also the table and chairs outside the lodge could be bigger as the lodge is advertised to sleep 4 but there are only two chairs and a very small table which wasn't big enough particularly with the very warm weather. A fabulous find and would love to return
Nathan
Lovely lodge, peaceful and quiet. Hot tub was lovely and fantastic views Took an hour to find the lodge so better sign posting would be helpful Would definitely stay again

Lovely place, lovely views would recommend but what I would say is the owners or ... Lovely place, lovely views would recommend but what I would say is the owners or managers could have been more helpful when we asked for an extra two hours at the end of our stay because we paid for early check in but got there normal check in time due to car trouble so we asked to add on the hours we paid for at the end but was told no even though the calendar online showed they didnt have a booking for the next couple of days but apart from that it was all lovely
This is the second time that we have booked this property. It is such a beautiful and clean place to stay that has the most amazing view we have ever seen. There was a slight blip with the hot tub where it needed to be cleaned but it was sorted in no time and the service has always been impeccable. The only thing it was lacking was a dustpan and brush. We cannot wait for payday to book to return again next year
We enjoyed everything about our holiday, the Valley View Cabin exceeded our expectations, the views were breathtaking and having a hot tub was an added bonus.

Well what can I say absolutely loved the cabin the view and our couple days away from home and work hot tube was amazing especially with the view to go with it and even in the snow was very cold getting out but it was worth it with the cabin being very warm the bed was so comfortable wish I could take it home loved cooking on the bbq will definitely be back again Couple of bad points out side lights are not working hot tube is leaking when jets are on and doesn't seem to hold temperature but that could be down to such cold weather please please fix the toilet seat blind behind the bed needs abit of attention and cupboard door needs fixing and the latch on the double doors need replacing
Jessica
Beautiful place beautiful scenery

The property was amazing and really exceeded our expectations! It is beautifully designed, and extremely clean. We really liked the views. The accommodation was lovely and warm, as was the hot tub! What an amazing little escape. Couldnt get recommend this property enough!
It was such a beautiful place. The views was amazing the bed was comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. Literally the perfect couples break. We had breakfast in our package and it was fresh from the butchers so it tasted so good! The only thing that would have been better would be if the hot tub had a roof over it. So it can be used all year round and not just when the weather is nice because we would love to come in the winter for the scenery.
Nicole
It was a lovely needed stay! views are amazing and the hot tub made it extra special. felt Cosy at the evening. didnt understand the 4pm check in as the room was moderately clean, skirting boards were dusty and there is a orange stain on the sofa, it just needs abit if tlc before it starts to look run down. The other downside was that they are doing work to the right of the cabin which is very loud and they work all weekend starting from 8am, which people should be aware of before booking. but overall it was lovely and definitely needed.
Just want the family needed after a tough few months we was able to switch off the alarms and just relax and chill out, the view from the pod was amazing and so relaxing the pod was comfortably arranged with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable nice welcome pack from the owners. The pod is located in a prime location and the local village was only a stones throw away The hot was a welcome bonus which we used every night
We had a great time. The views are lovely, the town of Rhayader was packed with interest and the Elan Valley is beautiful. This lovely accommodation gave us the chance to enjoy all of that without any worry it was a lovely place to stay in. The hot tub was an especially lovely touch.
Maxine
This is a great location for a countryside break and we loved coming back to the hot tub, after a full day of walking, for a glass of fizz beer whilst watching the red kites and house martins. We used the fire pit on the last night and wished we had lit a fire every night so I do recommend contacting the owners to arrange this. The views are beautiful and we were very comfortable in the pod.
We booked two of the huts for a short beak with family in July. Gemma was a lovely host. Everything we needed was provided and she messaged us whilst we were there to check if we needed any more wood etc. The site is beautiful and the views from our hot tubs were just amazing. We would highly recommend Holidays Wales.
The overall setting was out of this world it was so clean and cozy it was amazing and before we even returned home we booked to return next year and even two of our friends have also booked the pod behind is now too! ! We cannot wait to return to such a beautiful place i would highly recommend this holiday destination x
Claire
Fantastic cabin, perfect for a couple over a long weekend. The space is rustic and cosy, and perfect for any time of the year with an efficient heating system. The hot tub was luxurious just check the temperature before you use, as it may need time to heat up and views towards the Elan Valley are very special. We would recommend the cabin and are hoping to return. Thank you for a lovely stay!
I booked this little get away for my partners birthday and it was honestly the most gorgeous little getaway, when we arrived, it was very clean and cosy! We made the most of the beautiful hot tub, it was especially lovely after a day of exploring some of the most beautiful sights. It was my first time visiting Wales and Im so glad I did not book a hotel, these little pods were a dream! Ive never felt more relaxed even though there others around, its the most peaceful place. I will most definitely be going back! Thank you x
Richard
The peace and quiet was great with amazing views easy access to nearby town
Caroline
The pod was well kitted out. A bit small and the sofa and t.v. was fitted so you had to watch it on the side. Excellent views and staff were really friendly.
Raymond
The peace and quiet and beautiful location over looking the valley. The friendliness of Ben,Jemma and Jake such great young people. The hot tub was amazing, although we had really warm weather! We went with my sister and husband, who also loved it especially being able to take our dogs. Will definatley return. Thank you very much for a memorable holiday. Spike and Sally
The sofa in valley view has seen better days and so has the carpet apart from that it was fine
Lorraine
Disappointed to provide some of this feedback as we had a lovely time and for the most part, our experience was positive. My only negative feedback is that the photos of the interior dont reflect the cabin we stayed in Valley View. I suspect these photos are of the newer cabins which are behind Valley View, or very old photos. Ours was more drab than these photos indicate, with a stained rug and settee and faded bedding and towels, so felt that it was a tad overpriced for what we paid 806.00 for one week. The bed is a different one from the one on the photos and parts of the interior are painted, not just varnished wood. There was also a dishwasher instead of a washing machine, which wasn't much use as we used too few pots to merit loading it, but there was no scourersponge to wash the few pots that we used. Also only one toilet roll provided for two guests for a week. Granted we could have bought a scourer and we did buy toilet roll, but for the price we paid, they could provide a new scourer for every new guest, and sufficient toilet roll. Also a bugbear of mine empty and clean the loo brush holder! Another issue is that when searching for the accommodation, I ticked hot tub which it has and Near a pub. Unfortunately the nearest pubs are approx 2 miles away, so not exactly walking distance to nip into the town in the evening, have something to eat and a couple of drinks, and walk back along a not very will lit road, in the dark. There are two taxis, however we were only successful once in actually getting one no answer didnt reply to text straight to voicemail no call back when message left, fully booked That said, the cabin was very clean and the bed comfortable. The views are stunning, the hot tub was fabulous and we got a lot of use out of it. Suggestion to owners a portable canopy or something so it can be used when there's light rain but it's not cold? It also appears to be on a private road, so we rarely saw any other vehicles, so very secluded and peaceful. There are plenty of pubs in the town most, if not all, of which do food. There is also a Spar and a Coop, a couple of cafes and a couple of takeaways. We did hire hybrid bikes from Clive Powells in the town, but if you require hybrids, book in advance as they only have two. They do have other bikes for hire. We did the Elan Valley trail, to and along the reservoirs approx 17 mile round trip which was very enjoyable which can be done on foot, if you prefer walking to cycling. There are also some nice local walks. We also drove to Devils Bridge falls, which is worth a trip out. So overall, a positive experience and I would recommend it for a nice, peaceful break, with the right weather. Some tips to find it, input Mid Wales View into Google maps. Also, when on St Harmon RdB4518, look for a mobile mast on the right. Take first left shortly after the mast, for the cabins. There's a small sign which says GELLILAS. Valley View is the first cabin on the right.
Philip
Very enjoyable weekend break in excellent surroundings, wonderful views. Shame the heavy rain but it really didn't spoil things.
Had a lovely stay the hot tub was defently a bonus after long walks, the cabin was clean the only problem we had was the strong smell of dog it did say dogs welcome we dont have a dog and did not put us off when we booked the smell was very strong and stayed strong the whole weekend, apart from that lovely location and views.
Matthew
It would have been a little better with an oven and bigger towels but apart from that it was amazing and we really enjoyed staying there it was beautiful.
Carole
It certainly had the WOW Factor. The views were amazing, the cabin was just perfect cosy, clean and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Saturday morning soaking in the hot tub with the fantastic views and red kites flying above you! It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy complete peace and quiet. Staff are brilliant. Had a power cut on Sunday and it was dealt with straight away. Just about to book another break for September.
The cabin is lovely has everything you need in it and is very warm and cosy. The views are amazing and we enjoyed watching the sheep when they visited. The hot tub is a huge bonus which you can enjoy after days exploring. This has to be the most peaceful and scenic cabin we have stayed in. Would love to return.
Rebecca
We really enjoyed our stay at Valley View. Would like to say thank you for providing a beautiful place to stay and we would love to return one day.
Ashleigh
