A beautiful cottage with a fantastic view! The property has everything you need for a comfortable, selfcatering holiday. The owners were very helpful during our stay and we hope to visit again soon!
The property was very clean, tidy and superbly positioned with a lovely outlook. We would have no reservations in recommending this property.

What a great find! Centrally placed to explore the region, this fresh, clean and well maintained property was welcoming and homely. The kitchendininglounge was a cosy hub where we spent most of our time. Well kitted out with everything we needed and all essential supplies included. Furniture was comfy, beds were terrific for a good night's sleep. Showers were hot with plenty of flow. The garden was lovely, the BBQ pergola was perfect and the hot tub clean and easy to use. The personal welcome and farewell from host Steve was genuinely warm friendly. If you need anything a quick 2 or 3 mile drive gets you to a well stocked 24 hour mini supermarket in Builth. Would recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The views from the cottage and the garden were stunning. The cottage itself was immaculately clean, the beds were really comfy, and it had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved the hot tub and BBQ area, and feeding the pygmy goats in the field behind was a real treat. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Wow what an amazing holiday cottage. The views are just beautiful, relaxing in the hot tub is a bonus. Great location with plenty to do in the area. Cottage was clean and spacious and had all you needed for a relaxing stay. Steve is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

We have just come back from a perfect week at Curtau cottage and we miss it already. Steve was an amazingly helpful host who gave us tops on local walks and sites near Builth. He dealt with a very minor issue super quickly on the TV in the second living room where the power lead was missing, and had sourced a new lead within an hour or so. It didnt bother us as there was another huge tv in the main lroom which was a huge open plan living space with very comfy corner sofa. We enjoyed evenings in the bbq area watching the sun go over the valley from the hot tub and then the stars came out so bright as there is no light pollution. The views across the river valley are the best you will find in Wales. We also had the lottle goats behind which you could go and feed, they were very friendly. A perfect place for families with kids. We all fell in love with this place and will be back for sure. Iwould highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking. Tony
Beautiful, clean property with everything we needed for our family of 8. Beds were really comfortable and views were lovely. Very helpful and friendly hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. kids loved the goats and fish in the garden pond. Hot tub was an added bonus and enjoyed by all. Asda express 5 mins drive away with all basics we needed.
An absolutely amazing stay . . Steve let my daughter feed the lambs and pigmy goats the views are breathtaking so peaceful just a lovely place to get away from it all .. would definitely go back
Perfect facilities in spotlessly clean accommodation in an idyllic location.

There is Magic in the air at Curtau. The house the views the location the garden magic. Steve & Jill the landlords have given you everything you could need at this holiday destination. The kitchen is fully stocked for the creation of great meals and fond memories. Not to mention the fantastic barbecue area outside by the hot tub for those who dont want to cook indoors. With so much to see and do in the surrounding areas its a great location for families.. like so for those with furry children Jack and Poppy our beagles had a great time here. From feeding the pregnant goats to bottle feeding molly the lamb our time was filled with amazing experiences.. highly recommend the trip out to Elan Valley what a fun filled day we had there walking for miles and miles in picturesque landscapes. We will definitely be returning here. Thanks for the memories.
We were privileged enough to be the first people in this wonderful cottage and the hosts Steve & Jill have done a fantastic job in making this cottage exceptional. The weather obviously helped but the facilities in the house are great and we didn't want for anything. Lovely finishing off most days in the hot tub overlooking the River Wye. The location is close to Builth Wells, Brecon Beacons, Elan Valley etc.. so you're spoilt for choices about how to spend your days. We also have a big dog and she absolutely loved the garden, particularly looking at the sheep and lambs etc.. We found some fantastic dog walks. We're already looking to book next year and bringing my mum with us.
