About Mill House

Mill House is a converted grain mill with 260 years of history in Trefeglwys, Powys. This restored building sits on a 150-acre working farm in rural Mid Wales. Original mill cogs and grinding stones remain visible throughout. The property offers five king-size en-suite bedrooms and sleeps 10 guests comfortably.

The estate includes 10 acres of organic meadows and woodland with miles of private walking paths. A river flows through the property where otters and salmon live. The farm has been owned by the same family since 1945.

Accommodation includes five named bedrooms: Sage with meadow views, compact Wren, yellow-walled Rosalind, Agnes with a writing desk and ground-floor Moss. The Piggeries outbuilding connects via covered walkway and houses a dining area with wood-burning stove and treatment room.

Llyn Clywedog reservoir sits nearby. Machynlleth (15 miles, 25 minutes) offers independent shops and weekly markets. Llanidloes (8 miles, 15 minutes) provides River Severn access. Aberystwyth (28 miles, 45 minutes) features the National Library of Wales.
