An absolutely lovely place, surprisingly equipped and evidently maintained with detail. Services are amazing, with a hottub, games room, and enough space to give a large group some well needed relaxation time. Easily houses 12 and has a homely and warm atmosphere. The Owners are incredibly nice and will make you feel welcomed, with warm messages and gifts upon arrival. Heating is lovely, and customisable per room. The fireplace and large living area made an amazing hangout space, had a great time, definitely will be booking again in the near future!

We had a fabulous weekend at Ponderosa. Theres was so much space for our party of 12. The layout, the games room, the hot tub were all fantastic. I cant speak highly enough of the place. Lovely outside area to which Im sure would be even better in the summer months. Its a short walk to the local shop and post office if youve forgotten any essentials and also 2 local pubs, both welcoming. We really couldnt have asked for anything more.

The combination of rooms and bathrooms was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the property very clean, large and comfortable. Easy to find using the specific directions. Within walking distance of two pubs we went to the closest, which was small and very much a locals pub! but very welcoming and good, pub grub. The photo of the property gave the impression of being in expansive grassy grounds it was a house amongst other houses, on a corner plot with the majority of the garden open and on the road, caught the sun though! The table and hot tub were at the back and didn't catch the sun. Neither of these things would stop it being a good entertainment space, it is just the photo is deceptive. Had a great time, would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Ponderosa as a large group. The house was even better than the photos and the communal spaces were uniquely large enough to fit all of us. Something that isn't always apparent in other holiday lets. The bedrooms were all a great size and there were so many combinations for sleeping that we could have had. The games room and hot tub were a great addition and actually we ended up spending so much time at the house and the lovely river which is a short walk down the road, we didn't need to travel far to have a great time. The local residence were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't recommend it more.

Property was lovely overall clean and plenty kitchen equipment which we welcomed. Comfy beds and nice towels showers were brilliant although my elderly parents could have done with a mat inside shower to help prevent slipping. Only 1 small hairdryer which was fine between 4 of us but might be better to have a 2nd for larger groups. Great location for exploring towns and villages in the area. Hot tub great addition as was games room and beer fridge! I was expecting a bbq it wasnt on listing I think I spotted one on one photograph so slightly disappointed there wasnt one but overall really happy thank you. Personally not a fan of owners popping round when I hire a property I want privacy but they were very pleasant and friendly and I realise on some occasions maintenance is necessary. Recommend this lovely spacious house to others.

Great place for a family get together for 10 people. The owners were very friendly and gave us a few good tips for things to do. The hot tub was well maintained with the owners coming round to check it out on a daily basis. We all had a great holiday and would fully recommend the property.

What a beautiful house this is! It had everything we needed and more. It catered well for 11 of us, and the living room was fantastic for everyone to be together to socialise on the evening. The bonus was the games room, where we had the best time competing in Wales v England. England won, of course

A wonderful home for a large group everything possible was provided, it was immaculate and very comfortable. The hot tub was a big hit as was the outdoor seating which given the unseasonable lovely weather we were able to take advantage of. The house is in a great location, easily accessible with a shop zand pubs within a short walk. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Were looking forward to staying again. Thank you.

Visited over Easter for my daughters hen weekend 3 generations of family & friends. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Communication I had with the owners before the stay was excellent. They made a recommendation for a pottery class for us which was 10 minutes away which we all loved. The big table in the kitchen was the centre of our weekend, from eating meals together to playing Prosecco pong on games night! Everything had been thought of from extra towels for the hot tub which was very relaxing to the welcome basket of goodies thank you. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. It was a lovely chilled weekend of celebrations which is just what my daughter wanted. Would definitely book to come back and visit again. Thank you.

A lovely property, good spec overall and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and made sure we were comfortable in our stay. A little less grass out door space then we were expecting from the photos but this was a minor point. The one downside was the seating in the living room made it difficult for us all to sit together in this space but the kitchen and outside space was fab for all getting together. We had a great stay and would consider it again in the future.

We stayed at the Ponderosa for my Dad's 80th birthday celebrations and it was just perfect! The layout was fantastic and spotlessly clean. Lots of fun in the hot tub and games room. This was a lovely surprise! The property was clean and very spacious. The fire was all ready to go, and the hot tub, with its lights around it, was so inviting perfect for jumping straight in and relaxing. We hired this space for a 40th birthday celebration, and it was ideal. There are loads of rooms to choose from, so everyone can find a spot to settle down, and best of all, there are two pubs just a few minutes walk away. There was plenty of space for cars, and we enjoyed a lovely walk down to the river. We spent a lot of time in the games room, which was a real treat if youre into darts or pool. A great venue for a family get together. Its like the tardis as from the road, it just looks like a standard bungalow. But open the door and its a bit of a cavern. Its a well appointed cavern at that, lovely bedrooms and living room was very comfortable. The courtyard was very nice, but sadly a bit too cold to eat out whilst we were there. The games room in the converted garage was brilliant, but the pool games could be heard in the adjacent bedroom, so dont put children in that one! It is a more residential area than we originally assumed, though it wasnt an issue for us. Great access for a walk down along the Wye and a short drive to explore the Elan Valley.

We visited the Pondarosa for a 40th birthday weekend with family. The house was well equipped with everything we could need. There were lots of little touches that made our stay very comfortable, and we felt that the owners really had thought of everything. The games room had lots of things to keep the children entertained. There was plenty of space for the 12 of us to sit inside or outside together. The hottub was a hit for the kids! Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time at Pondarosa! The property is lovely, with lots of space and the everything we could need. We loved the hot tub, and the fact the hosts came to check the water quality every day was really reassuring.
