Cae Pren, New Mills

Lovely little lodge! Laura the owner was so lovely and helpful with any bits of information we needed!! The hot tub was lovely too! Really easy to use. Had such a lovely weekend x

We had an amazing stay at Cae Pren! Laura was really helpful in giving any information you needed and was available via text straight away. The lodge itself was lovely, really clean and had everything you could need. One slight note is that the fridge was quite small but this is understandable due to the size of the lodge. However, note for future travellers dont bring lots of freezer items as the compartment is very small and there is no slot on the door for items like milk to stand up not a criticism just an observation. It was amazing to have a dishwasher though, and there was all the kitchen equipment you could need. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and the views over the hills were amazing. We even got some sun on the last day to sit on the balcony. The location is great we went on a few walks, beware of the hills though if youre not very able! The small town close by has a spar, a Chinese takeaway and two pubs serving food. Its also a short drive to Welshpool and Newtown which both have lots of shops. Overall, it was a fantastic stay so huge thank you to Laura and Dan.

Very comfortable cottage. The standard of everything is excellent. We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.

Fantastic lodge with stunning views, Me and my partner had a brilliant time at Cae Pren Lodges and would recommend to anyone. Fantastic views from the lodge and hot tub. We cant wait to stay again one day.

Excellent stay, lovely cabin and me and my girlfriend wish we could have stayed longer. I would like to thank Laura for the help and hospitality. I also want to comment on the cleanliness, I don't think I've ever stayed at a place so clean. Would love to come again in 2025.

We had an amazing stay at Cae Pren, all of the facilities that you would need for a short break, beautiful views, lovely quiet location and very clean. I will definitely be booking again and will 100 recommend to friends. Laura was very helpful and responsive when needed. All around a brilliant, host and you have a really wonderful business. This was one of the best log cabins me and my boyfriend have stayed in! Fantastic view, so relaxing and so so clean. We absolutely loved it, just what we needed. The communication was spot on. Even letting us know to use the what3words app to locate the cabin and find it precisely. We will definitely be back, already sent the link to 3 friends to book! Thankyou again. Jade

Beautiful, there is everything literally everything you need in the property for your stay, spotlessly clean, Beautiful views, Laura and family were there if anything was needed, went above and beyond in making sure we found where we needed to go even offering to come and meet us if we got lost, hot tub was perfect especially on an evening as the sun set. Will definitely be back.

A wonderful, cosy stay with beautiful views. Spotlessly clean inside and loved the homey touches. The hot tub was great, the perfect end to a long walking day. Already recommended it to a few friends and would love to return.

This is a fantastic property with beautiful views. The hosts are helpful and welcoming but not intrusive. The property is well maintained and very clean throughout. A really good base to set off from and explore. The hot tub is a welcome treat to relax in at the end of the day and watch the kites circle around overhead. 100 recommend and we will definitely return

We visited bank holiday weekend and what can i say. The lodge itself was lovely. Very clean and the layout was lovely. Small lodge but very cosy. The views are magnificient and the hot tub was the main reason for booking and it did not dissapoint. All in all we had a great weekend. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The lodge has the necessary items needed but if you need an iron take it as one is not provided but the owner did offer to bring one if we needed it. Would definetly reccommend.
