Grain Loft is a self-contained private apartment set above an event space on a 160-acre organic estate in Trefeglwys, Powys, Mid Wales. Accessed via its own private metal staircase, this loft sleeps two and sits in a valley surrounded by rolling meadows, woodland and hills. The estate has been farmed since 1945 and runs entirely on solar panels, heat source pumps and rainwater harvesting.
The estate sits just outside Trefeglwys village with a pub within walking distance. The River flows through the grounds where you can spot otters, voles, mink, salmon and brown trout.

Inside you'll find Heal's furniture, Farrow & Ball paints, a Lusso nickel bathroom, Nespresso machine and handmade Penrhiw tableware. The super-king bedroom converts to twin on request. A king-size sofa bed sleeps two children. The kitchenette has a microwave and sink. An outdoor Argentinian wood-fired grill and outside kitchen are available for guests.
Llyn Clywedog reservoir is 8 miles away (15 mins). Llanidloes town centre is 7 miles (12 mins). Machynlleth is 22 miles (35 mins). Snowdonia National Park boundary is roughly 30 miles north (45 mins).
