The cabins were signposted very well from the main road which made getting there very easy. We knew it was going to be a great stay from the moment we arrived when we found a towel, dog treats and even a new ball for her on arrival! The welcome pack was amazing Welsh cakes, milk, bread, jam, crisps, and fresh brownies to name but a few. Bed was very comfy and super kingsize which is unusual in our experience. Living room had excellent sofas and great TV, and the kitchen was very clean and modern with everything you need to cook up a storm! To top it all is the patio and an entire secure field for the dog, not to mention the superb views. We didn't use the hottub but I'm sure it too would have been great. Fantastic clean, modern property with entertaining views of lambs frolicking in nearby fields, to the sunrise and sensational lighting shifts across the valley. Stunning dark skies for star gazing. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden & walk behind the property or down a quiet lane. Lovely clean, large, covered hot tub we used each night with a view. Thoughtful welcome pack, well stocked kitchen and cooking tools. Comfortable beds, pillows, sheets and settee are of quality. We had a week and found lots to do & hidden gems to discover in the surrounding area. We can't recommend this property highly enough and would book again without hesitation. Our stay at Dol Blodau cabin was absolutely perfect and just the reset we needed! It was a very restful long weekend with the hot tub and beautiful scenery lots of lambs out!, and we took a walk up the hill for stunning views. The cabin itself is a great size, super clean, and really well furnished with a comfortable sofa and super king size bed. There were also so many lovely touches including milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival and a basket of goodies. Honestly one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the stay as a guest to make it as wonderful as possible.

Weve stayed at this cabin three times already and plan to return twice a year. Nowhere else in the UK gives us the same sense of peace. It is secluded and surrounded by beautiful view set in a truly comfortable stunning cabin. Banty and Rachel are wonderful hosts and we cant recommend this place highly enough. Emma, Carl & Dogs x

We enjoyed a wonderful stay over Xmas. The 'cabin' was spacious, comfortable, had everything we needed and was lovely and warm with a very pleasing sense of remoteness and spectacular views. The covered hot tub was a spectacular bonus. Highly recommended. This was a real find.

These are amazing cabins set in a beautiful location and prepared to the highest standards. The perfect cabin getaway. The cabin is very modern yet the owners have made it feel very homely with some lovely touches. The views are amazing and can be appreciated from the very private and covered hottub. The welcome pack goes well beyond any expectations. I Cannot rate this cabin and its owners highly enough.

This was our second time staying at this cabin, and we loved it just as much as the first. We stayed for 7 nights with our two dogs and had the most wonderful time. The views are absolutely stunning, a perfect place to relax and take in the peace and quiet. The dogs loved having the outside space to run around in and were fascinated watching the sheep. We also enjoyed the lovely walks around the fields. Inside, the cabin is beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well. The living room is cosy and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. It really feels like a home from home with so many thoughtful touches. Weve already booked to come back in spring next year, and we couldnt recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, dog friendly break in Wales.

The accomodation is fantastic with views to die for. If you want piece and quiet then this is the place for you. The hot tub is a bonus. Fantastic!! A beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay

6 Days of Blissful, Peaceful atmosphere and lots of Special Touches. Rachel & Banty were welcoming & thoughtful. The Cabins are Beautifully designed both interior & exterior, with comfort & ease of use in mind. Great Hot Tub! A location full of Valley Views and Sweet birdsong. Overhead fly Red Kites and other Raptors, with many other small birds chattering in the near by Forrest & hedgerow. Small Baby Bunnies scurrying, Sheep constantly moving up & down the Valley as they graze with their young & old alike. The Stars, unadulterated by the lack of light pollution and so much sky to view at the top of the Valley. What a Fabulous Retreat!

Rachel & Banty made us welcome from the start the flowers, hamper of delights and brownies were so thoughtful as was the milk in the fridge. The lodge itself is beautiful and so homely, they have thought of everything from a few treats and poo bags and towel for the dog, to providing washing capsules and fabric conditioner, towels and extra rugs,books and brochures. My husband doesn't read books but couldn't put down the one about the local area and a man living off grid. As for the setting, absolutely beautiful and so peaceful just what we needed. This is probably the best holiday we have had in this country. The responsiveness of the host, the facilities in the property, the location and the dog friendliness all contributed to making it a fantastic experience. The holiday was a surprise birthday present and Rachel and Bantys assistance and attention to detail helped to make it a very special occasion.

We had a lovely few days, the dogs absolutely loved the enclosed space to run around and watch the sheep. The cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, the views were amazing. Even with all the rain we still had a very relaxing time, the dogs got a bit muddy due to the rain, but there was a hose to clean them up before allowing them back in which was very handy. The hamper and dog treats were a lovely extra too! The hosts were both lovely! Highly recommended, we would love to come back again when the weather is a bit better so we could enjoy the outside some more!

What a wonderful lodge, a gem of a find. My husband and I and our two dogs had a very pleasant stay with fantastic views, accommodation and facilities, everything you would need and like for a relaxing break away as a couple, family or group of friends. Banty and Rachel had thought about the customer experience very well, which included a rather lovely and well thought out welcome pack, and also for the pooches. There was various books and games to play too. The accommodation was very comfortable to stay in, including the beds. We took our PS5 so we could also watch Netflix, Sky Go, listen to music, or play on the console as desired. The hot tub was very well maintained, one of the cleanest weve been in, and was very relaxing taking in the breathtaking views. The dogs loved being able to run around in the enclosed garden and to watch and listen to the sheep in the fields and also numerous species of birds. We enjoyed it so much so that weve booked to return again in a couple of months time.

From start to finish we cannot fault this beautiful little gem. Location and lodge were amazing , the hamper was very well thought out and welcomed. The lovely large sofa in front of the beautiful view was where we spent alot of time. The super kingsize bed allowed me to have the best quality sleep I've had in years and the furniture is so beautiful, honestly i could go on and on. Wifi is scatty which is only down to how beautifully remote and isolated you are. We took our own and it worked perfect Rachel and Banty were superb hosts. The hotub was simply amazing with views to fully appreciate. Dark Skies allowed endless star gazing aswell. We have found our little peice of Heaven and within 20 minutes of being here we secured a xmas booking . Thank you Rachel and Banty. See you soon xxx

We absolutely loved it! We have travelled worldwide and this cabin is one of the best places we have stayed. The accommodation was so tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped the beds were so comfortable and furnishings excellent. The hosts Banty and Rachel were so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The views across the valley were to die for . A perfect secluded place for relaxation and recuperation.

Wonderful Cabin in a stunning location with views to match. The owners were friendly, attentive and always available for anything, including when I was stuck behind some sheep on a nearby lane. Secure Garden for small or larger dogs. Tub was cleaned discretely every day and new towels were provided during our stay. Excellent cabin, beautifully fitted out with everything you could wish for. A lovely basket of treats fruit and fresh flowers. Perfect.

Dol Blodau is a beautiful place, both the accommodation and the location. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful everything was. The view was amazing and really made our trip special. The cabin had everything we needed and more for both us and our dogs. I cant recommend this place enough. We booked it for my partners birthday and Dol Blodau has certainly given us memories well never forget.

We thought we were visiting to explore the local towns. But we rarely went further than a couple of miles on foot, coming back to soak in the view and the hot tub loafing on the sofa watching the clouds change the colours in the landscape and listening to birdsong and the lambs. A very well appointed cabin and everyone so friendly. We left once for a meal at the recommended 'The Triangle', fabulous. The first reveal as you open the lounge door though, unforgettable.

Perfection! I can honestly say this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculate. It had everything you need for your stay cooking and cleaning up equipment, a hairdryer, robes and towels for the hot tub all provided. The finishing touches and attention to detail was exceptional, including a welcome basket of treats, and even some for the dogs. There are a selection of books and games available to play, my son particularly enjoyed the sketchbook and pencils to draw. The show stopper though, is the incredible floor to ceiling views you could watch all day from inside, outside, or the hot tub! You can explore parts of the surrounding land and head out up The Hill for even more spectacular views and if the night sky is clear you can take advantage of the darkness and gaze at the stars above. Thank you for a brilliant few days, we have already been look at dates to return to unplug from busy city life and relax in perfect surroundings.

We had a perfect stay at Dol Blodau, the accommodation was spotless and the attention to detail was exceptional. We didn't take our dog but the enclosed garden would have been perfect for him, will definitely bring him when we visit again! If you're looking for peace and quiet with a relaxing hot tub then this is the place, thank you so much for having us and we will definitely visit again.
