Llwynderw Hall Reviews

Llynderw Hall is a superb setting for a family celebration. The rural location is stunning with options for outdoor activities on the doorstep. Emma is a wonderful host and the catered meal she provided was perfect for the occasion. We had a truly memorable stay.
We used Llwynderw Hall for an off site corporate meeting. Llwynderw Hall not only met, but exceeded our high expectations. The house was beautiful, very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The grounds were spectacular but really special mention needs to go to Emma who looked after the team so well and provided the most delicious lunches.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Llwynderw Hall for my 50th birthday. The house is absolutely stunning! The hosts, Emma and Dan, were really fantastic responding to requests and we had a lovely meal cooked for us on the Saturday night which was such a special evening. We also had Lily come to the house to provide beauty treatments to some of the group which was a relaxing treat also. We were also very lucky to meet the newly arrived piglets on the farm, so cute! All in all, a fantastic stay, we will definitely return!
Emma and Dan hosted us for my 50th birthday, the house is striking and beautifully appointed and the meal they prepared for us was wonderful, cooked over an open fire in the valley. Simply the best birthday weekend for a family and friends gathering.
Madeleine
Absolutely incredible property the photos simply dont do it justice. In one word magical. Each room is beautiful, spacious, and finished to the highest standard with nothing left unconsidered from bedroom storage and spare pillows, to every kitchen utensil imaginable and a lovely welcome hamper. The hosts thought of everything, even leaving us baskets of wood for the fires. Some holiday accommodation can feel temporary and without much thought, but Llwynderw feels like a welcoming home which we never wanted to leave! with all the home comforts, decorations, and soft furnishings. I cant put into words how much we enjoyed staying at this stunning home and exploring the beautiful grounds. Every room was pristine and spotlessly clean. The hosts, Emma and Dan, were incredibly friendly, quick to respond to communications, and helpful with our requests. The only thing to note is that the hosts live in an annexe attached to the property but this is only a positive thing, as they were around to answer our questions and even offered to take all the bins from outside the back door, saving us from making multiple trips down the long majestic driveway!! You couldnt meet a nicer, more helpful couple. I hope we will be back one day!! Thank you for the best weekend.
The property was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful and spacious, with incredible views and paths for walking and running. The host Emma was lovely, with great communication and support whenever we had any questions. Would highly recommend this place!

This is an ideal property for a large group. We had an amazing time where nothing was too much trouble. Beds all comfy and the house was exceptionally clean. The setting is stunning and very easy to find. Plenty to see in the local area either by car or foot. Recommend a dip in the WashPool! Our group ranged from 8yrs to 79yrs. 17 of us sat comfortably at the dining table. Would definitely return.
Llwyndrew Hall is perfect for a luxurious and homely stay away in the Welsh countryside. Stunning views. Great walks from the front door. Roaring fires in 3 rooms downstairs. We were a party of 10 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs. The house is perfect for families with children finding adventures discovering all the rooms and staircases set out over 3 floors. Emma and Dan made us really welcome and helped with everything we needed. We met all the farm animals which the children loved. An amazing 5 day visit.
Absolutely stunning, the building, the surrounding area and the whole experience far surpassed our expectations. Emma was so helpful and made sure all our needs were met. Her communication throughout, from booking to pre stay arrangements and extra provisions for our birthday celebration, was speedy and helpful. I would recommend Llwynderw without a seconds hesitation. An experience that will stay with us forever.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas at Llwynderw Hall that housed three generations of our family. The house was warm, in very good condition, comfortable and in a fabulous location. The welcoming hosts, Emma and Dan, had decorated the Hall for Christmas to traditional themes with trees and scenes lit by 'Alexa' controlled lights. All in all, a most satisfactory Christmas break with great accommodation in a lovely, remote location. Many thanks.
Bernard
This is simply the most amazing property for families or large groups of people to stay in and enjoy the Welsh wilderness. We can completely understand why Michael Cain made use of the property to escape a busy world. The property owners simply couldn't do enough to help when asked yet left us to it. We will be returning to complete the breath taking walks within the estate and enjoy another breakfast over the fire by the waterfall! Exploring the Abergwesyn Valley, Devils Staircase, Tragaron and the Elan Valley are just stunning. This was an adventure start to finish. Very well done.
