This was our second visit to Pentrego Isaf as a group of friends and we had another great week is this lovely place. We will be returning next year and thank you very much to Phil and Haf for their kindness and generosity.
Wonderful Hosts, Wonderful House and Wonderful Scenery.
Phil and Haf our hosts were more than accommodating, in between their busy lives spent running the farm, they made us feel making us extremely welcome. The property is a perfect get away from it all accommodation. It is spacious, well appointed and situated in glorious countryside with a view to die for. We would have no hesitation in recommending Pentrago Isaf it is a fantastic property.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage itself is perfect with large spaces indoors and a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills. The family who own the farm are very welcoming with lots of great suggestions of things to do. A fantastic stay!

Had the most wonderful weekend, it was a family get together we had plenty of room for everyone the house was amazing and the veiw was breath taking. a liitle out of the way but thats why i booked it. it was so peaceful we all managed to relax, highly recommend this property. only one draw back you are on a working farm close to sheep and cows so there was a lot of flies, but the kids run around with fly swats and had a blast..........
Beautiful property with all amenities and excellent for accessibility needs. Quiet and peaceful and hosts were friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our break.
Shelley
Just home from an amazing stay with the family. We all had a wonderful time. Beautiful home with everything you need for a stress free stay. Great views and lovely to see all the animals on the farm. Owners were warm and welcoming. Only advice I would give would be to take some fly stray but that is to be expected when the weather is hot and location is on a farm.
Excellent stay for our second visit to this property, even better than the first time. Wellequipped, clean and comfortable place and lovely friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. Great central location for exploring and great for wildlife. Will definitely stay again.

Pentego Isaf was a lovely farm cottage with serene and amazing views. Mr Phil and his dogs were very welcoming. Cottage was clean, spacious and all beds were comfortable. Accommodation was well equipped with all essentials. There were more than sufficient utensils, plates and cutleries. Table tennis board in the garage, the sheep on the farmland and the games kept the kids entertained. We visited the Lake Vyrnwy which was not far from Meifod. We all had great time at Pentrego Isaf and will definitely return. Thank you Mr and Mrs Watkins.
Lovely well equipped and clean property, friendly and helpful owners and great location. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.
Kathryn
We had a wonderful time at Pentrego Isaf. The house had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location is idyllic and we enjoyed some lovely local walks. The local pub was a short walk away with excellent food. Powys castle was a great day out, and not too far away. Phil the farmer was friendly and helpful, although we didn't want for anything. Would recommend a stay here and hope to be able to visit again.
The property was an excellent venue for us with all the amenities we needed and more. It was a delight to stay and Phil was friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying again sometime in the future

A fabulous property, very spacios and comfortable. We found it a great base to explore a different part of Wales to where we have stayed before. We are looking forward to another visit.
We've stayed at many Sykes properties around the UK over the years and Pentrego Isaf is right up there with the best of them! Clean, comfortable, quiet, very well equipped and in a lovely setting with fabulous views. The friendly and helpful owners are close by if needed. An excellent base from which to explore the Mid Wales region.
A first class setting encompassing all that you need for an excellent holiday. Accomodation of the highest standard, with friendly and helpful owners, set in a beautiful peaceful area in stunning Mid Wales.
Jennifer
Pentrego Isaf is a comfortable and well equipped property. We had a really relaxing holiday watching the cows and sheep in the fields nearby. The owner Phil was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our chats with him and his son. We particularly enjoyed stroking the dogs Meg and Casi. The scenery was beautiful and it was very peaceful. The perfect getaway from it all. We enjoyed visiting various visitor attractions, e.g. Powis Castle. The local pub, The Kings Head, served good sized meals like their Sunday Roast and we had Fish and Chips from Llanfair Caerinion which again gave good portions. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Pentrego Isaf as it is the perfect quiet, relaxing and scenic location with friendly owners. We would love to come back again.
Stuart

Quite simply a lovely house in a lovely location. We could not fault anything with this property as it is has everything you need and is fantastically located for all of central Wales's points of interest. The property is located on the edge of a farm but is very private with stunning views and its a fun pastime watching the sheep and cattle antics. Wonderful welcome pack awaited us and Phil and Haf are very friendly owners on hand if you need them. What's not to like !!
Nor Azlena
