Ludlow is under 40 minutes away - a well-known market town with independent shops and food markets. Builth Wells hosts the Royal Welsh Show each July and is also under 40 minutes. Presteigne is the nearest town. Hay-on-Wye (famous for bookshops) is roughly 12 miles away (25 minutes).
